Featuring classics like “Dancing in the Dark,” “Glory Days,” “I’m on Fire,” and the title track, the album produced an incredible seven Top 10 singles.

But despite its huge chorus and patriotic imagery, “Born in the U.S.A.” told a much darker story about the struggles faced by Vietnam veterans returning home.
